Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination should not be performed on patients with claustrophobia, implanted pacemaker (ESA) or cardioverter (ICD), metallic implants, metal chips, mechanical prosthetic heart valves, metallic ear implants, chemotherapy or insulin pumps or other metallic objects in the body.
